Almond Processor
Agromaned, an Almond processor located north of Lisbon is our first European client. Agromaned had heard of ALMADS via the grapevine and the work we do with clients across California and Australia, and felt that ALMADS would be a good fit for them.
They started small for their first harvest in 2022, using only the admin version of ALMADS, but the 2025 harvest marks a big step forward — live data capture during processing is now in action! With terminals installed at pre-cleaners and the huller for real-time data capture, integration with truck scales to automatically generate electronic weight certificates, QA sampling (using Qcify integration), with results flowing directly into ALMADS and configurations to support inshell processing for the first time.
Agromaned are now taking full advantage of ALMADS and its ease of use, even for a country where English is not their first language.
And coming soon to their operations – automation of big bag tagging and product diversion between stations, communication with pre-cleaner tanks to monitor fill levels and validate selection, batch data sent to SCADA/HMI for Grower, Field, and Variety visibility and plant hours tracking to measure efficiency.
