Waliz Nuts, located in the picturesque town of Newrybar, not far from the beaches of Byron Bay, New South Wales.
Starting with their first phase ALMADS implementation concentrating on Grower Receiving, Quality Assurance and Grower Payments, we will then move onto cracking, sorting and packing.
Waliz Nuts is a progressive, expanding company and we are excited to be along for the ride with them and assist them with efficiency and information.

Almond Processor
Riverland Almonds Hulling was ALMADS’ first almond huller/sheller client in 2004, with a bespoke system to capture bin weights, trace product, and report grower deliveries and quality. In 2021, they migrated to the configurable ALMADS Enterprise, replacing desktop terminals with web-based terminals and introducing a grower portal. Scales remain directly interfaced, and QCIFY integration now sends QA data seamlessly to Riverland Almonds (Nut Producers Australia) when product is shipped.

Murray Downs Processing has partnered with ALMADS since 2023, expanding from farming to processing their own almonds in 2024. ALMADS now supports all remote farms with tablet-based load and stockpile tracking, real-time huller and sorter monitoring via SCADA, and seamless RFID-based inventory management – eliminating the need for bin tags. QCIFY and Borde QA systems are fully integrated, and future upgrades will include Netsuite ERP and truck scale RFID integration, continuing to streamline operations end-to-end.
Our goal is to take their brand new almond huller, sheller, processor, and packer operations paperless, using #ALMADS and RFID technology, from the orchard to the final packing stage. We’re always on the lookout for cutting-edge solutions, and this project is no different. This will be a groundbreaking first and we are excited to partner with them.
